BISHOP UNMASKS HIMSELF showing what sort of avaricious person he is; what his ambitions are; and what his real colours are. He has started to show that his stretch of evil plans is not going to end with American College alone. His talons are growing further … when his attempts on our college are failing he has the audacity to extend his evil designs to our sister institution, LADY DOAK COLLEGE too.
The following is the set of resolutions the recent Executive Council of Madurai Ramnad Diocese passed under the very eminence of our bishop.
Res. 3/2008 – L – Collegiate Education
a. It has been reiterated that privatization of the American College and Lady Doak College can never be resorted to under any circumstances.
b. As the Synod is quite clear and consistent, to stop privatization of the educational institutions formed by Missionaries, the Moderator and the Deputy Moderator are taking strenuous efforts to negotiate with (!!)the American College, Lady Doak College, Madurai and Madras Women’s Christian College, Chennai so that they are not taken away from the structure of the Church by private individuals.
c. The members of the Committee strongly felt that the September Convention can be conducted at the American College premises as usual.
d. The bishop Iyah (!) uttered a word of caution that if the contention ‘that The American College is a Diocesan property’ is vehemently opposed, similar problems may erupt at later stage in respect of all other Diocesan colleges and institutions.
e. In view of the continuance of the false accusations from Prof. Solomon Pappiah, in the American College issue, the Committee resolved to proceed with legal action against him.
f. The committee unanimously appreciated the Bishop for his strong and bold venture* to hold grip of the American College within the Church precincts.

thank you Dr. Riesz for following the events happening here, so far off.
The "thiruttu" Bishop in his recent interview (India Today: Tamil edition) has stated that he never interfered with American College matters. He is unfaithful liar, he is not a pastor but an (d)evil in pink cassock.
What is more appalling is the fact that
a person who is corrupt to the core has managed to become a deputy moderator in synod.
Looking at the structure of synod, he is answerable to no one.
it is time, someone start the campaign against him from church front.

When I was in Madurai, I heard that Miss Shanthi Manual made the nuts and bolts on LDC so tight that even the likes of this Bishop cannot unscrew or alternatively screw around with at the peril of being screwed. I was even told that she even warned the then Principal of AC, PJP (?) of the possibilities of the present predicament that AC is in. Solomon Pappiah does not have to go to court to defend! Let him put on a "Patti Mandram" to discuss this Bishop and his daughter! To the website of Dinamalar posting readers' opinion, I sent comments on "the needs of fighting a dirty war against a dirty person" and sent a list of atrocitiies committed by the Bishops of Madurai-Ramnad Diocese since Newbegin for which archival evidence exists and could be found. An all out expose full of blood and gore is needed. Dinamalar did not post it of course. I am afraid that Mahatma is outdated in India and we are refusing to accept it.

I still remember the way madurai stood still in 1994 when we had a strike. I think we need to unite just as strong again.

Thanks for updating all the events of the American College. Even though I'm not an alumnus of the college, I always have a passion for the college. The recent issues of the college worries well wishers like me, to a great extent. I read your mail stating the verse from the Bible, Bood of Kings, meditated while fasting prayer was observed. I want to add another valuable part from the Bible which I hope the Bishop has not read yet???. The letter of Paul to Titus - chaper 1; Versus 5 to 16 enlists the characteristics of a Bishop and the qualities of his men. Let every christian read this also and do a comparative study. I pray and plead the Almighty to save the American college.
