“We are just curious to know what is so special about Mr. Davamani Christober, the individual in question. So far I have only seen people run after positions. But here is a man after whom positions do run. In June 2005 he was appointed Warden, Zumbro Hall. In June 2006 he is elevated as Bursar. That is, he starts an academic year as Warden and ends it as Bursar. I think the usual term of a warden is five years. When Mr.Christober has barely completed one year out of five, and yet to accomplish the work and thereby prove his mettle, how thrust on him a greater responsibility? Where is the need? Why is the hurry? And, what is the logic? Don’t you think there is something evidently odd behind all this?
It is said, “Life is after all expecting the unexpected. Well, for the faculty of the American College, it is perhaps accepting the expected!”
… (We do expect that) right after the retirement of Dr.Chinnaraj Joseph and before that of The Rt.Rev.Dr.Christoper Asir, Mr.Davamani Christober would be made the Principal of this college!”
Friends, the above is an excerpt from the remarks made by Mr.M.Rajendra Pandian, elected faculty representative at the Governing Council meeting on June 03, 2006.
Is it not interesting to recall this against the backdrop in which the RUMP COUNCIL has reportedly passed a resolution promoting the SON IN LAW-BURSAR into a SON IN LAW-VICE PRINCIPAL?!

For personalities like christober, they take only their NEEDS into consideration, NEVER their ABILITIES.
