Appointments of Principals and VCs based only on UGC 2010 Norms

Today there was an article in The New Indian Express on page 3 that has raised a controversy about the appointment of the Vice Chancellor of the Madurai Kamaraj University. The bottom line is that the new VC does NOT have qualification as per UGC 2010 norms. If found correct, she has to be replaced.

The same qualification norms are applicable for the appointment of college Principals too. Unqualified persons, make a note of it..! days are not far off for such persons to be divested..
