To 'fulfil' their evil plan of grabbing the college Late Bishop Asir & Davamani turned innocent students into thugs by 'buying' them 'drinks', mobile and motor bikes.
Now it has come to a point that these 'rowdy elements' have become uncontrollable (even by their mentor - Davamani).
In the recent past, the rowdy elements split into rival groups and often they clash. These clashes are unpredictable, the violence erupt at any time on working days that too inside the college campus while regular classes are going on, making it totally unsafe for other students, particularly girl students and staff members.

Oh! God! see what your messenger Asir and his son-in-law have done to The American College!
The college once peaceful and serene has now become chaotic, wild and horrid.
Now Asir is no more, but still the 'seed he sowed once' has fully 'grown and is blooming' and haunting the campus.
Oh God! Bestow peace on our college campus!

We are waiting for the day to see Davamini being beaten up by these 'rowdy' elements. Already these elements are saying that they only made Davamani as Principal...

There is no surprise in it.The Self-Claimed Principal Davamani can produce only anti-social elements.Once this institution produced students to develop nation,now Davamani is producing anti-social elements to destroy nation.
He is the modern Cain because he is going to be chased from everywhere.
These videos come in support of the articles published in this blog and the handbill circulated by the Diocese members. I request the blogger to send these to collector, Chief Minister, Education Minister etc. to show who Davamani really is.
PGP Diamond Jubilee. In 2013 PGP of the College will be completing its 50 yeras of work towards improvement of Physics Education in this part of our great country. Some old students and friends of the Department are planning to celebrate the event in a fiting manner. Prof. Dr. R.P.Riesz, the founder of PGP and the first head of the department has indicated that he will be in Madurai for the celebration. The preparation has commenced and I am very much excited at the speed with which the idea is welcomed.
In 1970 we PGPhysics ran a UGC summer program by the name SWOP-70 (Summer Institute in Optical Physics) and in 1973 we ran similar UGC summer program SEED-73. The first one brought in Fourier Optics into our curriculum while the second brought in Digital Electronics. The event will have a good academic content besides a memorable social get together.
Let us hope that the Golden Gubilee celebration in 2013, a full 20 years after SEED-73 brings about a quantum jump in Physics Education through a good program in Optics (Quantum Optics).
Let us hope by the end of this academic yeaar the college returns to normalcy and as we begin the academic year 2013-14 we are ready to celebrate the event. VS
