The Tamil Nadu Government through JDCE, Madurai has credited one month salary (Dec 2010) for all the AIDED teaching and non-teaching staff of The American College.
This has come as a big sign of relief for all the staff members.
Further, it confirms that the bishop's appointee (who ever it is) is NOT recognized by either the legal system or the Government to function as the Principal & Secretary.
