The American College and the Holy Family

Again Asir has proved to be a petty crook. His shamelessness has reached a new low. Even the thinnest veil of public decency he was pretending to wear all these days, he has finally shed. For quite some time we have been witnessing an endless megalomaniac family drama, where wife strives to promote the husband, husband the daughter, the daughter the son-in-law, and the son-in-law of course, himself. This drama reached a macabre climax on Friday, 28 October 2011 as Dhavamani the son-in-law was made the Principal and Secretary of the American College by Bishop’s fake Council. For many of us, it Biblically amounts to ‘throwing a pearl before the pig’. [In any manner I do not intend hurting any individual pig or community of pigs].

Now let me call Asir’s Bluff. Ever since he failed in his land grabbing attempt in early 2008, he has told several lies in public to defend his actions. He said:

“The affairs of the American College Society are not regular… and I want to set them right.” [So he illegally appointed George Selvakumar, indulged in promoting campus violence and abused the process of law in the courts].

“Christians are not given jobs as lecturers by the upstart Principal in American College so why I am struggling hard to salvage the college for the sake of the congregation” [So he created communal passion and paranoia within the church and took  pastors  and Christian school teachers to the streets in campaigns and rallies].

“The college is going away from the church… They are trying to build a Pillayar Koil on campus in order to please Hindus”.  [So why he did not hesitate to send thugs into the campus and unleashed several rounds of violence].

“American College properly belongs to the diocese and I will get it back by all means” [So he felt justified in allowing several house-breaking on campus and instigated his son Joel to occupy the campus with 40 odd thugs, under different guises. They are there on campus, even now]

“I am least interested in making my son-in-law Dhavamani anything big… he is not as intelligent as my daughter. He is basically a muff” [Then who boxed him up recently to change his views?]

Perhaps on only one occasion Asir seems to have told the truth. It was when he admitted that his son-in-law was a muff. I think he did not change his views on his son-in-law’s IQ though. But he has  perversely thought that American College needed only a muff as its principal so that he can feel comfortable as Bishop - Chairman.

“Oh! dear Asir, We tolerate everything – your bald lies, small time thuggery, foisting of false cases, pretentions as scholar-educationist, unabashed promotion of family interest and much more. But definitely not your act of desecrating the American College by appointing an arrant muff as its Principal. Not only me, but several thousands are deeply hurt and broken by this single act of yours.”

This time there is yet another culprit who is hiding behind Asir. If Judas Iscariot betrayed Jesus for 30 silvers, this man has betrayed the college for 17 votes Asir has promised him in the forthcoming Moderator election.. He is none other than the Deputy Moderator. He spared Asir the job of the mid-wife, by substituting him as the chair of the dubious sub-committee. This, they claimed was to bring more objectivity. It seems Commodore Stephen was furious about it. But he was promptly snubbed by Ayya and his cronies.. The Governing Council of the American College Society as it is legally called is now totally appropriated by the Father-in-law, Son-in-law and the Unholy Ghost that inspires them. While our hearts bleed, the First Family of the CSI Congregation rejoices that the college has become their family domain.

I also understand that there is so much of heartburns within Dhavamani camp itself. Poor Stephen the innocent, first time has come face-to-face with the illegal and immoral conduct of Ayya`s Council. His knee jerk reaction is that he would lay down his office as the Chief of the Eastern Command as a protest. (But he does not think for a while who would defend beloved Bishop Ayya from now on, on the Eastern Wing). Controller Robson I learn, like a badger, is digging fresh burrows to hide himself and watch. For the time being, we need not worry too much about lesser elements.
