CONGRATS! Happy to know that at long last Justice has prevailed. Not often in history does Truth win! Usually evil gets the better of Truth! But on this occasion Justice indeed has prevailed. As one writer in your Mail Box points out GOD has answered the Prayers of thousands of students, teachers and alumni. The judgment will be remembered for not only its legal acumen but also for its literary flourish. Guru Shetra has become Kurukshetra! The judges have displayed erudite scholarship in tracing the string of events that led to the situation. Not withstanding all that is said about our judiciary ( the delay and all that goes with it) on this occasion I can only say LONG LIVE CHARTERED HIGH COURT OF MADRAS! One cannot but appreciate the enormous efforts that you have personally put in! It is very easy to be on the side of powerful and wealthy but very difficult to be seen in the company of the meek and deprived! Only people with a deep sense of justice and fare play will ever risk such a companionship!
