It is early in the morning, Monday 24th and as we were about to start our day’s work we received a call from our friend and former American College Librarian G P. Reuben, from Mascot, announcing the victory of Dr. Chinnraj Joseph. This has triggered a series of joyous celebration as we have started calling expatriate friends far and near to celebrate this golden day. Thank god for this defining day in the history of American College for which we have been waiting so long.



For those of us who are scattered around the world, helplessly thinking about the tireless struggle my fellow colleagues and friends of American college are going through day in and day out, this news is real cheer.



Let this victory be the stepping stone on which we shall rebuild our college. For close to two years we have not advanced an inch. There is an urgent need for us to rebuild the olden glory of our college and its tradition. While celebrating this monumental victory can all of us take a pledge to reaffirm our loyalty to the institution and help our Principal in rebuilding the college.



Thank you Samji, for being our voice throughout this monumental struggle.
