Normality returns to college

MADURAI: After two days of high octane activities witnessed at the American College, things returned to normality on Monday. Examinations were conducted and peace prevailed on campus.
It all happened following apprehensions raised on the likelihood of a takeover of the college by the Church of South India’s Madurai-Ramnad Diocese. Peace talks were arranged between the supporters of the Bishop, ex-officio chairman of the governing council, and those of Principal and secretary, T. Chinnaraj Joseph Jaikumar.
With the talks failing to produce any conclusive results, as assured, Mr. Chinnaraj ensured peaceful conduct of the examinations. A huge posse of policemen was posted to prevent any unsavoury incident inside the campus.

It is heart breaking to hear the news about the college. WE the Alumni would not allow the college to be in the hands of the Traitors who mint money in the name of GOD. I personally support my Guru Dr. T.Chinnaraj Joseph and his team of warriors. I strongly condemn the traitors.

It is really heart breaking to hear the news about My College. I spend five years of research in AC, Even though I did my Undergraduate and Post graduate in other colleges I am proud to say that I am an American College student to everyone, because of the culture and the Prof's.
Whoever wants to spoil the Harmony and the environment of my college one thing I want to say "For making money there are so many ways please don't use Historical College”. The American College got its own respect among so many colleges in India, for the personal interests don’t spoil it. I strongly condemn the people who are going against the Colleges reputation.
I Wish to be in Madurai to support Prof.W.T and his Colleagues.

An unfortunate event in the history of the college. I am dumbfounded by the acts of all the players, and the lack of mediators. A College that has produced six generations of prominent scientists, engineers, poets, educators, preachers and teachers has been dragged to the streets on a powerplay.

I read about these appalling events happened to the American College, my Alma mater while returning from Peru attending a high level meeting with Peruvian authorities. The vice-president of Peru explained to us his difficult times as hostage in the presidential palace during a political coup happened over there some years back. The events I read in your blog reminds me of Peru. However, it is very difficult to digest that an "academic coup" can happen in a Christian college that believes in the justice of God. The worst thing is that the Bishop who is suppose to spread the word of God and the arrival of His kingdom has conducted this coup!

It's heart breaking news,when I saw this news in intenet. The American College is the best college in the world. I am very proud to say that I am a student of “ The American College”. Our college motivate more students to become a exemplary person to serve the society in all the way. Those students are not only from the specific relegious. This have its own heritage. Please dont spoil their futue by the Name of God. It has its duty to motivate more students in futue. If money is the problem (persionaly) for Bishop or some how if the money had been spent for anything in anyway.........all alumina of our college, from all around the world, we will give a money to protect our “LIFE PATH”. Dont try to misuse the power and try to be human.
Where ever we are in this world we, the student of The American College will be producted and we are with our students, Non teaching staffs, teaching stafs who enroled in this issue.
